The full course is split into two parts, but can be taken individually, and teaches students everything they need to know; from setting up their equipment, to beat matching, and lots more. The first weekend is very much a crash course in DJing. A great way to learn all the basics. Part two is a more intermediate level follow-on and teaches students how to add some creative flair to their mixing abilities, as well as recording and editing your own mixes.

The classes are taught by Pro DJs with over 15 years experience, in small groups that give a more individual learning experience. All students are provided with their own workstation, set-up and have all the best equipment available at their disposal. All musical styles are welcome.

Pete Tong Visits the Point Blank Studios

BBC Radio One DJ and true pioneer of the dance music scene Pete Tong popped by Point Blank this week for his second visit to the studios. After having done a quick bit of recording in studio 5 he kindly took some time out of his busy schedule to meet some of the students from our sound design course

We are proud to have a DJ of such legendary status show his support for our college and online music production courses. He also promised to come back for an extended Q & A session at one of our regular celebrity master-classes.
